But how do you manage it?Simply submitting an application and hoping for an interview is suicide these days. In today's world, that won't get you past round one. You need a special something that'll get you noticed and help you get that interview.Well, friend...I know what that something is! It's called a cover letter! Now, not just any cover letter will do the job...you're going to need a good one. The better your cover letter, the better your chances of nailing that interview. To get that job, you're going to need a cover letter that really connects with the guy reading it. It needs to show just how valuable you could be to the company, and influence the employer to set up a one-on-one interview. Once you get that interview, the job of impressing falls to you, but you have a lot higher chance of getting to that interview stage if you have a killer cover letter.Really, that's the most critical part of a cover letter. I mean, naturally it needs to give a good outline of your qualifications...but the real purpose of a good cover letter is to nail that interview.
